Gladson Msendera

Gladson Msendera is a programme management professional with more than ten years of experience in rehabilitation initiatives, arts education, cultural programming, and business-oriented project delivery. He currently serves as Programs Manager for the Young in Prison project at Music Crossroads Malawi, where he leads the design, coordination, and implementation of national and international arts and cultural programmes in collaboration with government institutions, development partners, artists, and community stakeholders. His work draws on strong organisational leadership, budget oversight, risk management, monitoring and evaluation, and consistent reporting to senior management and partners. Throughout his career, Gladson has developed and managed programmes that support children and youth while safeguarding and promoting their wellbeing. He holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Development Studies and possesses extensive experience in budget preparation, financial reporting, and resource mobilisation. This combination enables him to deliver programmes with a sustainability-focused approach, including income-generating activities that strengthen long-term operational viability while preserving public access and cultural integrity. He brings strategic leadership, operational discipline, and community-centred programme insight to initiatives that advance youth development, rehabilitation, and cultural participation.
