Triza Mpacha
Vice Chairperson
Triza Mpacha is a community leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for rehabilitation and reintegration whose personal journey of transformation has shaped her commitment to supporting people before and after incarceration. Following her release from prison, Triza pursued vocational training through the Prison Fellowship Halfway House, where she graduated as a welder. She now runs her own welding business, using her professional skills, lived experience, and personal resilience to build trust with formerly incarcerated individuals and guide them toward stable, productive lives. Triza is the founder and Chairperson of the Tikondane Ex-Inmate Association, an organization established to promote positive mindsets, peer support, and personal development among inmates and former inmates. Through this work, she advocates for the rights of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, supports efforts to reduce recidivism, and helps individuals rebuild their lives, families, and communities. Her leadership is grounded in practical experience, empathy, and a strong belief in second chances. She mentors newly released individuals as they navigate re-entry challenges and encourages them to pursue skills, confidence, and community acceptance. As a Board Vice Chairperson, Triza brings lived experience, grassroots leadership, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to inclusive rehabilitation. She strives to strengthen representation, promote resilience, and advance coordinated efforts for successful community reintegration.
